Life of Louie

Last night I surprised Eric with tickets to go see Louis CK, if you get a chance youtube.com his work and you’ll be crying and kicking on the floor holding your sides from laughing. I had tears streaming down my face for 3/4 of his show. He is one of Eric’s favorite comedians so about 3 months ago I was looking around to see when he was playing. Especially after the medical co-pays for breaking my arm over the summer my money was tight but I knew Eric would love the opportunity to go see him live rather than through the 3"x4” window of youtube.com. I got him to come up town to meet my mom for dinner and then told him I had to head to Times Square to pick up some props for a photo shoot at the magazine. We rounded the corner to the Town Hall (the venue where the show was) and Eric pointed it out to me since he had been there before. Then I responded with “oh yea that’s where we are going” he gave me a blank look and I whipped the tickets out and said “cause we are gonna go see Louis CK”. I am glad that I was able to keep the surprise going for three months all the way to the last minute and I really hope it made him happy. A lot of laughter made it a good night even though we were both exhausted. Tonight; off to Boston MA to see Woz and Mattt and maybe David if he is in town!
