I dont care if its silly.

I kind of DIED over that dress and its Grace Kelly-esque style.
This counts as Royal Wedding #3 that I've attended via Television.
Diana and Charles [well, my mom was pregnant with me but it still counts in my book], Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson in 1986 [I have vivid memories of watching it with my mom and great aunt in Chichester, UK] and now this one. I know I might have been insane for watching from 4:30 am on but I am so glad I did.
I had to switch between CBS (beautiful picture quality) and BBC (where they DIDN'T talk over the ceremony but the transmission on TiVo kept skipping and freezing). I was actually physically uncomfortable with the comments Katie Couric made...her reaction to the balcony kiss was unforgivable..."I don't mean to be ungrateful, but that's it?"

this still makes me smile
Every time I look at the link I am reminded of what an amazing life I have and of the extraordinary people I know and have the pleasure of calling my friends. First and foremost my "new" husband (7 months now) and Matt Miller (with assistant Megan McInnis) for these unbelievable images.
Thank you, thank you...thank you.

17 years ago...really? Now i feel super old.
I remember pulling through stacks at Last Vestige and rummaging through the music section Barnes and Noble (most likely since i didn't know any better) for any import CD i could get my hands on. If it was in Japanese and I couldn't read a thing I felt like I had won a golden ticket.
I could assume this band was my gateway...
