Art for Afghanistan

Paintings of downtown Albany, NY that Sam as transferred to canvas from old photos. All areas painted have since been torn down and build over. The one at the end is a photo of where a present day Pepsi Arena (formally know as the Kinckerbocker for all you upstaters) sits today. He told me that in original photo you are able to see his grandmother and grandfather.

Sam, Artist.

It was wonderful to see Sam, we’ve know each other since I was 14, I remember he used to be a bouncer at these shows that the local radio show would put on for something like $.92 due to the name of the radio station. I don think It was Fly92. But it very well may have been. (We are talking like 13 years ago). Sam has the biggest heart of anyone I know and the ability to make you feel like the world revolves around you when he sees you. And I am also learning that he has an incredible artistic ability to compliment an amazing personality. No matter what life hands him, this kid will always be sipping on lemonade.Convergence art expo.
