
Eric and I went to see Elizabeth The Golden Age with Cate Blanchett and Clive Owen, other than providing a good hour and half of something interesting to look at, a memorable history lesson, and perpetuating my crush on Clive… I would say that we walked away with the opinion that it was an “ok “ movie. Possibly the most amusing part of the evening in concurrence with the movie was when Eric were at home bantering back and forth over whether or no Raleigh NC was named after Sir. Walter Raleigh (Clive Owen’s character). And of course after getting out of bed to get my laptop and looking it up on wikipedia, I was right that it was.
